From Fiumicino Leonardo Da Vinci Airport

This is the closest airport to Sabina, it is connected by a direct rail link to the stations of Fara Sabina (Passo Correse), Poggio Mirteto and Gavignano Sabino.

A train connects Fara Sabina to the airport and the capital every fifteen minutes. The terminus for the Poggio Mirteto and Gavignano Sabino run is Orte, which is served every 30 minutes.

From Ciampino Airport

Ciampino Airport is utilized mostly by low cost companies and may therefore be more convenient. Sadly it is not well connected to Rome itself. To arrive in Sabina from here it is necessary to take a bus to Rome's Termini Station (about 60 minutes) than the Underground Metro Line B in the direction of Rebbibia. Its four stops to Tiburtina Railway Station from there a train headed either to Fara Sabina or Orte.

From Tiburtina Railway Station

This is the station from which trains to Sabina depart from; the stations are Fara Sabina (Passo Coresse), Poggio Mirteto and Gavignano Sabino.

From Termini Railway Station

This is Rome's main railway station from which trains depart to all long distance destinations in Italy and abroad. From this station it is necessary to transfer to Tiburtina Station for destinations in Sabina. The fastest way of doing so is by the Underground Metro Line B in the direction of Rebibbia, it is four stops.

by car from Roma

Take the motorway A1 Rome to Florence and exit at Fiano Romano. After a few kilometers on the lead road one arrives in the municipality of Far Sabina (Passo Coresse). From her follow the indications of the road signs to the destination required. 

 

 

by car form Terni

Take the motorway A1 in the direction of Rome, exit at Ponzano Soratte and follow the sign Stimigliano Scalo. From there follow the road signs to the destination required.

 

 

by car form Rieti

Follow the Via Salaria (SS4) towards Rome, at Osteria Nuova take the SP 46 towards Fara Sabina and Poggio Mirteto.
